For food trucks

Your customers know where to find you this week, and order before they arrive.

A food truck changes location, opening hours and sometimes its menu from one day to the next. We build a website that shows your up-to-date locations, takes pre-orders for collection at the truck and receives private hire requests, without you spending your evenings at the computer.

What holds you back

What makes life hard for a food truck

The cooking happens in a few square metres, and the communication often happens on a phone, squeezed in between two services.

  • “Where are you today?”

Regulars look for where you are today. If the information is scattered across several social networks, they get the wrong day or the wrong car park, and end up eating somewhere else.

  • The queue at the lunchtime rush

At lunchtime, everyone turns up at once. Taking orders, taking payment and cooking all at the same time slows the service down, and some customers leave rather than wait.

  • Vague event enquiries

Weddings, street parties, team lunches, night markets: people write “are you free in June?” with no exact date, no headcount and nothing about power supply. You have to ask for everything again.

  • A menu that keeps changing

Dish of the week, an item sold out, a new recipe: the menu online does not always keep up, and customers are disappointed at the counter.

  • Schedules that are hard to share

Regular pitches, markets, private events: when the schedule lives in your head or in a notebook, your team and event organisers struggle to keep up.

ExampleExample

Fictional example: a food truck working several locations

An example made up for illustration, with no real client. A food truck serves lunch at different locations depending on the day and takes on a few private events at weekends. Its website shows the week’s schedule, updated every Sunday from a phone. Regulars pre-order and choose their collection slot, which shortens the queue during the rush. Private hire requests arrive complete, with the date, venue and number of guests, and a proposal is ready to review.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change today’s location myself?

Yes. We set up the schedule so it can be changed in a few taps from a phone. If you prefer, send us the change: small updates are included in the monthly fee.

Do pre-orders mean customers have to pay online?

No. You choose: online payment when ordering, or payment at the truck on collection. Online payment cuts down on forgotten orders, but it is not compulsory.

How do I avoid getting too many orders for the same slot?

We can limit the number of orders per collection slot. When a slot is full, the customer picks the next one. You set the limit to match your pace in the kitchen.

Are event proposals sent automatically?

No. Aristide prepares a draft based on your packages and your terms. You read it and send it. Nothing goes out without your approval.
